The Year 5 Careers Convention is held bi-annually. The goal of the day is to introduce the children to a range of careers options and help them to make connections between learning and careers while they are still in primary school. We hope to inspire them to value learning and to open their minds to new possibilities. During the convention pupils will have the opportunity to interview exhibitors and discover:
‘What school subjects have been useful to you in your career?’
‘What training/education did you need for your career?’
‘Why did you choose this career?’
