On Wednesday 1st July 2015 (the hottest day of the year!) over 400 year 5 pupils from Network cb23 schools attended a Careers Convention with over 20 exhibitors. Pupils armed with packs of information and questions, grilled our exhibitors on various aspects of their jobs and professions on a whistle-stop tour of The Centre for Computing History in Cambridge. The exhibitors were all volunteers who came from a range of professions and organisations. Many brought interesting equipment, clothing and even free gifts – all greatly appreciated by the pupils (and staff) who attended.
Many thanks to the staff at The Centre for Computing History and ARM for providing the venue free of charge.
Thanks also to our exhibitors for providing their time free of charge and inspiring all the young minds in attendance.
